We were taking a break from sewing for the summer but had a lot of requests so Brittney and Kate will be coming out Wednesday July 31 at 7pm for a special Summer Sewing Circle in the Larga Boardroom.

Goba Care will be visiting the Dene National Assembly and meeting with participants to learn more about medical travel needs and share about our work.

Goba will be taking medical travel patients, escorts and families out to Elk Island National Park for the day. We will be regrounding ourselves, getting into nature and sharing good stories to remind us of home and the land.

We will be having yummy BBQ, games and prizes. Sign up at Larga if you want to attend.

Goba Care is hosting this Drum Dance to celebrate and honour the strengths of our cultures and ways of healing within Northern communities. All are welcome to attend.

Our Dene traditional drum is very meaningful to our healing journey. This event, for medical travel patients and escorts staying at Larga, will allow guests who cannot attend the drum dance to experience healing with a drum prayer song.

This Dene cultural teaching and prayer song will allow patients and healthcare partners to experience the power of our drum and to hear what life is like for us coming in from the far North for medical care.
